After his wedding, the couple moved to Adams, MN, where Mr. Rumreich owned a hardware store. In 1940 they moved to Decorah, IA, where he opened Rumreich Hardware in the building at 106 East Water Street. In 1950 they moved to Grand Forks, ND, where he owned and rented rental units and also was city assessor.
